i was going to buy one this year but i decide to sit out the first trial year of the nytro, honestly how are they? what can be improved and what would be left the same, is it worth getting a left over 08' or wait for 09'

Oh man, I got the standard and kinda wished I got the RTX. Yet the RTX is real hard core. Depends on how you ride. For me something between the two is perfect, going to have my shocks revalved this summer for bottoming as it is easy to blow through the travel on the standard.

I am 270 pounds and now that I have the nextech reservoirs on my floats, it is not as harsh.

Anyone else having the problem of ice building up behind the muffler but before the snowflap? (Inside the tunnel.)

Remove the tunnel protectors & you get a fraction of the ice. Go to an aftermarket exhaust & you then get virtually zero ice.
