You guys probably already know how unselfish, kind, and compassionate I am, so you won't be surprised by what I am about to do.

Even though it will cause me to endure more traffic, and it's resulting trail destruction, I will give you a trail condition report.

I rode from the Buckhorn, to Shingleton, to big spring, and back. The trails were all freshly groomed to Ontario standards. I saw very few sleds. I heard that Yamadoc is out grooming as I write this. Even the Munising trails were perfect.

My wife caught some nice Pike while I was riding. Fish for dinner. Buddah says a couple of you are on the way up already.

trails

Are there any good trails in the UP yet? It's done here in Central WI. I don't feel done yet though. 1700 miles isn't quite enough yet (even though it's my best year so far.)

Hey RX1 Yooper junky what do you think about next week will it be rideable, any idea what there calling for up there with temps?? Its suppost to go to 50's down here this weekend.

OH....nevermind ic its not looking good after this weekend at all. :(

Ive been riding the central UP (western marquette county) and there is good riding on the trails as well as off the trails.

It should last through this weekend....................BUT......they're now calling for mid-40's and possibility of rain for Monday :( Trails will be toast as of then........there's still a lot of snow off-trail but getting more & more difficult to get to it. :?

Doggone it Buddah, get the air conditioner going and open the door. Save that snow. If you have to, put some in your freezer.

Although Buddah is probably right, I'd wait a week or so before putting it away. Right now, everybody riding that I've talked to say it is the best riding of the season.

I want to come up next week for a day or two to get some last minute rides in. I'll let you know.

Brad

Rode from Ishpeming to Big Bay yesterday, and the trails were the best that i have seen this year by far. Trails were groomed and set with zero bumps. The only bad spots were right as you go into Big Bay, with bare spots and some long water holes on the trail (the water was alot of fun so i didnt mind). So other than the last 2 miles, the riding was beyond perfect, I just dont know how long it is going to last.
