I was putting a new muffler on my sled the other night and wondering where I could mount a hotdogger or muffpot. I sure am jelous when the guys I ride with open up their ovens and start eating warm lunch while I eat a cold granola bar.
I am wondering if anybody has found a good spot to mount an oven on a 08'+ Nytro? I was thinking I could cut an hole in the cover that is behind the seat over the muffler and drop it down in. Your thoughts?

hotdogger yes sir!!
Works fricken good. I needed to seal the area up a little better, but it is all just trial stuff right now. I made some parts just screwing around and they worked good enough that I figured I would just use it. My skidoo jerry can holds the lid down..

Several guys in my group cook lunches all the time on their 2 smokes. They use the Glad brand oven bags to put their food in and then put them in the cookers. Burritos, pizza rolls, corn dogs - you name it.
I usually get by with a cold lunch, but the warm lunches are nice on cold days when they share some with me.

why not? No bars for a warm place to get a meal up on the mountains. It is always nice to chill out where the view is nice and have something warm to eat.bottlerocket said:Why cook on the sled? Gross
Why cook? More like why don't you? lol

What muffler is that? I love the dual outlets w/the side dump.

Looks great! How do you like your exhaust exiting the side of the tunnel?

Jardine dual outlet off of a CBR1000RR. Same muffler for the CBR 600 as well as Kawasaki 675 or whatever. I think triumph triple speeds can use it as well.swelly said:What muffler is that? I love the dual outlets w/the side dump.
It is loud.... I really don't like that it is loud. Though I needed something with a dual outlet to make it work.. As with everything on my sled, it is a work in progress.
thanks. out the side is ok.. though when you are sidehilling on a hill, one of the outlets points out to the valley sharing the noise with everyone. Gonna try making it so it stays under the tunnel and shoots forward.TRUST said:Looks great! How do you like your exhaust exiting the side of the tunnel?
