i got a 2006 apex rtx i love it i have a few ripped lugs and i want to get a better track and i like the cobra but could i squeeze like a 1.5 under it or a 1.75 i would not care if i removed the cooler protectors

Protectors are 1" squares, stock track is 1.25", 1+1.25=2.25. That answer your question?

Depends on the track you put on it and the conditions you ride in. Under certain conditions, the taller track will SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASE your speed.

ya... i looked today i might order my selt a 1.75 sno cross track or just trade it in and get a new fx nytro or new apex i want some thing that will keep up with a 800 mod in the jumps and the 1.25 is dead now i was playing in the powder and pinned it and caught a rock on the tip of the track broke 2 wheels and like shredded the track!!!!

My 1.5 just fits between the drivers and the front Heat exchanger. Protectors had to come out they were rubbing the track.
For the 1.75 you would need to go to 8 tooth driver and some regearing.
This is the way I look at it. The track is comming out. Right?? So the drive axle and drivers need to be removed to do it. If you still have to get the track and you like the 1.75 get it. If you have a press getting the drivers off the axle is a piece of cake. Its just jun taking the impact hammer to the rivits holding the protectors in

exactly man thats what i was wondering about because i am really not liking the rip saw... more like rip apart ha ha i currently have 2700km on it and its all torn up.. before my wheelie into a rock ha ha i bent a rail .. so i am thionking of patching it and selling it i want to get another 4 stroker and possibly a 2 smoker to jump and stuff bacuse i have broke 5 front arms on my mono shock.. not a jumping/ rough trail sled
