some more information on your problem may be helpful. What is the cornering problem? Does it "push" or is it ski lift or something else?

With your ride height set correctly, a good transfer rod gap should be about 17mm. Tightening the straps another hole will put more pressure on the skis and may help your problem. I have my straps in the stock position as I don't like a lot of ski pressure. I prefer more carbide. I learned to deal with ski lift and I don't have a push issue.
