I will be converting from a 03 firecat to the apex this next season. The overall I loved the firecat with one exception. The narrow track was just no fun in deep snow. 128 inch by 13.5 just didn't cut it in 4 feet of snow. I mainly run ditches and trails. In a good winter the ditches can fill up with 5 feet of snow. It's fun to run in when it is fresh but I was wondering just how much snow the RX series can play in before you have gone in over you head. Digging out the firecat was no fun and I can only imagine what it will be like with a slightly heavier four stroke.

IMO, my 05 RX-1 is marginally worse in deep snow than a friends 03 F7.

If you want to have a little more deep snow capability, you probably should consider the Attak. I'm sure with the 136" track it will be superior in deeper snow (I've never tried a Warrior, nor ridden with one - so this based on what I've read only).

Rider ability makes a big diff. My buds are amazed at where my RX shorty will go. Having good deep snow riding techniques makes a huge diff!

My F7 Sno Pro went through way more snow than my Rxwarrior dreamed of. But then again my Rev800 with the stock 1" track trumped the Fcat easily too!

Never got stuck yet, with either one of my RX-1's. Just keep the momentum going.

nicely said impala...keep it wfo....gotten stuck with my rage, but jumped down into a gravel pit bowl, relizing that there wasnt an opening. took me bout 2 hours and countless dig outs to get out of there. i wonder how many guys followed my tracks?!?

I run a 121" and haven't gotten stuck. Just like open water, keep it pinned.

I'd like to take you two guys out for a ride..........
You'd be shovelling 'til spring :D

Nah, I'd just leave it there and drive it out once the snow melted.
