keep us informed if it resolved problem..Just finished installing a used actuator I got from hbishman25 from www.barnofparts.com
I managed to clear the code, which I hadn't been able to do before, so I am hopeful that replacing the actuator fixed my problem. No trails near me to test it out though, but im thinking of heading to Cochrane this weekend. Fingers crossed.
My '11 Apex EPS didn't work one very cold morning too, but only for about a 1/2 hour...then came back on.

Looks like I've repaired my EPS issue
I went for a 75km ride yesterday and my power steering is back! No more error code.. Woo hoo!

Ya I'm wondering if moisture condensation is the culprit. Mine has worked with no issues for many rides now without a hiccup. Was in my enclosed trailer which was full of moisture when issues started. Now back in the garage!
I had a bunch of other issues same trip which where moisture related, stuck fuel relay and a stuck starter.

My EPS light came on more frequent as time wore on...first time during very cold mornings, then semi cold mornings. After a run of smashing through snow drifts, I encountered EPS issues more often and then all day long. I figured it was due to snow ingestion in the front nose area. I removed all the snow, took apart all the wiring, let the wires dry, then reconnected the wires using dielectric grease. It seemed to work for a month or so before the EPS issues reared it's ugly head again and eventually permanently.
Hopefully, this doesn't happen to others often and just an anomally. With the Triple Threat skis, the Apex is a bear to turn.

hmm good to know. going to have to buy a can of a new dielectic I saw demonstrated and spray down mine and brothers eps sleds as I think it is a corrosion/connection problem.

I have C&A RZR skis on mine with 7-1/2" shapers on mine right now, and it steers like a dream. No darting, and corners well. Think I actually should pull my strap down one hole, but may make my steering stiffer. Right now I am getting a little bit of push, but I'm running a 136" track studded on mine.

Well, your setup is pretty close to what i'm going to put on mine: 2016 128 inch with 13mm swaybar, i already have the Razor skis, and will shorten my front shocks a little...should be nice, thanks for giving your info..I have C&A RZR skis on mine with 7-1/2" shapers on mine right now, and it steers like a dream.
