Is there a way to activate the speedometer / odometer on a 05 RX1 without the engine running? I bought a non running RX1 and I want to know what the mileage is before I spend a bunch of $$$ fixing it

There is, I have to look into my note to remember how.
Run a jumper wire from the battery to the fuse box. One of the fuses will power up the gauges. I have done this to test and aim headlights without running the sled.

There is way to fire the gauge and light with the key on and the not running. I am still looking but you have to like turn the key to on position and click the up on the hand warmer control like 4 to 5 times and the gauge and lights will come on... but like I said I am still looking.

On my Vector, kill switch up(off), first hold the thumbwarmer switch down (as to lower the temp), second turn the key to on position(not to start) and wait. Takes about five seconds for lights to come on.

I was trying that hand warmers trick yesterday hoping the gauge would light up lol...I thought the blank gauge idea was weird when I first got the sleds
