How do I get the seat off an 2003 RX1

I would like to take my seat off and add some foam. Whats the sercret to getting it off. Thanks

Remove your exhaust tips 3 out of the 5 capscrews need to be removed. than remove the 2 big screws under the tail light. The plastic piece with the mesh can now be removed. On the heat shield on the muffler is 2 J hooks that have a nut on them. BECAREFUL when first breaking the nut free the small bracket on the heat shield could get twisted off if nut is seized. Once the nuts are removed the seat can than be lifted from the rear. The only other thing you need to do is unplug the wiring hareness on the right side of the tank.
