Rx1-Snow: I did the same thing to my seat as you want to, and it worked out really well. Not only is it much more comfortable, it also took care of the "wrinkle" that formed across the seat after riding a while. One thing to watch out for is the straps that go through the original foam at the point where the seat has the "step-up". I had to grind a new contour in the foam with a sanding disk, because the new foam spaced up the surface and the vinyl didn't fit right until I did this. Also, make sure you use stainless or monel staples in a powerful gun w/ reattaching the vinyl to the plastic seat base, as it is REALLY tough stuff. Have fun!!!! 8) 8)
