RS steering

Does anyone know how to improve the steering on a '95 Rage?

Make sure the skis are aligned.I have 05 rage I had to change the bushings. The ones from the factory are crap I put in metal ones from almer worked very good.My Rage is a pleasure to ride.

What are your issues with the steering? It will help with getting proper suggestions.

I believe what Snow Tundra is referring to is there any slop in the front A-arms? lift the front of your sled off the ground and grab the A-Arm where it connects to the sub frame. If there is movement then they are bad. This can adversely affect how it handles.
Its best to replace them with oil-lite bushing from people like Ulmer Racing.
Depending on what issues you are having you can try diffident things to improve the way it handles. for a cheap fix.
Make sure the ski's are toed out by at least 1/4" inch. if the ski's dart you will have to shim the back of the ski rubber. you can also you the half pipe method . ( best if you do a search on that one) I use it on one of my sleds and it works good. if you have to light of steering tighten the limiter strap one hole. There are lots of hints in the sticky's at the top top of the "RS" section.

Good luck

One thing that really helped is have the front shocks rebuilt. You can tell the first time you ride after a rebuilt.

the best thing i did for my venture was put ski doo pilot skis and woodys dooleys, use the ski doo spindle rubber bushings, align skis replace with oil lite bushings and it will rail
