hey it's new wait a while it'll loosen up. i have ridden a bunch of new sleds and most recent an 09 800 adrenaline. they all have thier issues i'm just not willing to deal with some of them. i think the yamaha issues are nothing in comparison sure i'm gonna change a couple of idler wheels and have arms like popeye when i'm done but now i have to figure out a way to do a complete workout.

I oiled all the ball joints in the steering and took it for 150 mile ride and its way easier to steer. I didn't think it would make a difference.
Man I love this sled!!

Good point. These should be lubricated during each chassis greasing interval. There are actually 12 points in the steering system alone that should be lubed on a regular basis, most of them located under the hood. They are shown in the repair manual. I wonder if these dry joints are what's causing a few complaints of hard steering because it will make a difference. My steering is nice and free with the front elevated

Test drive of 09 Vector..
Well I got to test drive the 09 Vector, 09 Nytro, and 09 Apex yesterday at Yamaha demo days. The steering on the Vector was as easy as anything I have ever rode. The Nytro and Apex was also easy to steer. I really was just there to see the difference in the Delta box II which was really nice compared to my 06 but the Nytro was the #*$&@ for sure. Really good in the bumps and a light feel.
I think next year it will be Nytro for sure.
