I know I read this somewhere, but can't find it.
I have the heavier spring to put on.
Seems like someone said the spring can replaced without taking out the skid.
Any help would be appreciated.

Loosen the rear axle nut

Loosen the track..

unplug the shock wire.. (remove any necessary zip ties)

Unbolt the shock

push shock back and upwards and let the front part drop down and out..

Its VERY EASY... but be very carefull with the shock..

Spray the track above your rear shock mount with a little WD-40 or your favorite lube. Then the shock end will slide against the track much better. Welter left out that you need/should remove the rear bolt on the transfer rod also. This will drop the top bracket and let you slide the shock arm back. Do a search on the wire for the shock and follow it. Someone posted the page for the correct zippy tie position. The electric connector is the same as you will find under the hood, it has a little tab you push to release it. Doug

Wow SORRY not inteneded to offend. I had a hell of a time getting mine out/in with the bolt out or in. I found it to be much easyer with the bolt out. Also the lube on the track is a must if you don't want to sit around and wiggle wiggle wiggle until it's in place.

you can also follow the wire up into the sled & unhook. Pay attantion to what you remove and where. Then you do not have to worry about getting the zip ties back in right place. I have had mine out twice with no issues. Just pay attention.
