I've decided to get back into sledding "full time" next season with a spring-order.
When I first heard about a Cat chassis Yami powered sled, I was hooked......but then found all the local Yamaha and Cat dealers have closed their doors. That got me looking at the sleds I could get serviced locally; SkiDoo and Polaris. Polaris does nothing for me, but who knows what they'll have for 2015. not much for me I'm guessing :4STroke: . That pretty much left Doo, but what I hear about the cast Al front chassis stuff breaking rather easily has me thinking maybe 50 or 100 miles isn't too far to get a sled serviced if it isn't a constant thing....
I'm kind of digging the looks of the white and blue LE
How are these sleds holding up to rough use? I am a really big guy and hit the trails hard. speaking of that; do they make 2-up equivalent springs for this sled?

PS. I had fun at the TY ride in Munising, and the frostbite is starting to heal.

You probably won't need the 2 up rear springs, and with the adjustability of the Fox 3 up front I don't rember hearing anybody saying they were going heavier springs.

Only mechanical issue has been reverse but that was corrected with an update that keeps it from popping out of gear.

The 2014's have had a few electronics issues, not significant that would strand you, but hard starting warm and a couple others, the 2015's will have updated ECUs. We're hoping the 2014's get the same software updates.

Many site members have turbo charged their Vipers and a large number of those owners are riding big miles with little or no issues on the engine, drivetrain, or chassis. Spend a morning or afternoon on the site and check out some of the comments other users have made would be time well spent.

We have his and hers Viper LTX models and love them.

This sled rocks. Besides the small issues we have had as a new release there is nothing I can complain about. Did 180 miles yesterday and hit some pretty knarley stuff at high speeds. All I can say is it just eats it up. The handling capabilities of this over the nytro is incredible. I only wish I waited a year so I could have ordered the LE.
