Just noticed that they have duponts for the mountain sleds. really curious as to how far back the Vespel goes. Sticker price scares the hell out of me at 150 apiece! Is it the same slide profile for the Apex XTX and the Nytro mountain?

The Duponts I bought last year where 60 bucks apiece now they are 80 bucks apiece. Big jump in one year.

yes they are sasquatch. I usually buy nitro/apex mtx 162 slider plastic to keep in the garage as spares. garunteed to fit any sled I own and my brothers apex mtx when he is in town.

Could ya measure to see how far the vespel goes down the slider starting at the front. I'm curious if its the same as the standard Dupont for the 144. The price difference leads me to believe they have more vespel further down the slider.

Ooops you don't buy Duponts but same profile slider! My bad!

no problem lol. going to try a set of duponts on an sx venture this winter as it suffers from sticky slides and lots of guest users. getting over 5000km to a set of kimpex or yammy sliders so not trying them on my sled yet.

Ya if you can make regular sliders work Duponts are not worth it in my opinion but as the stock sliders would only last 500 miles and be so thin you could see through them and still get so hot they where melting at 60mph they work perfect. Duponts will not stick when you run them 100mph on rock hard snow. Sadly I have 3,000 miles on mine and because of excellent snow last year, they are worn but in great shape. Could get another thousand plus out of them easy but with trips coming up that add up to more then that and poor snow conditions, I'm going to change them and start fresh again!
