Just curious how long everyone is willing to wait for their new Viper before you bail and look for something else? My dealer is still saying this month, Apex2006 says his dealer is saying maybe the second week in November in a post on here today. I think that's s about my limit even if we don't have snow. Mid November is when I'm jumping ship while I hopefully have something to choose from a on the dealer showroom floor. Hope its here soon.

That's the thing, everyone hears something different it seems. Kinda feels like we are being strung along to be honest. No idea why Yamaha can't mail everyone who snowchecked a card with an estimated delivery date, they can mail us all a survey card, would sure be nice. I will honestly never snowcheck again, it's been the longest summer of my life. Tired of waiting but mostly tired of not knowing.

Good things come to those who wait... I think early November is a realistic delivery target
My dealer told me mid November.

Our local dealer said they are getting 9 Vipers in. They are scheduled to arrive in a number of shipments spread out between mid Oct through mid Nov.

The sleds are being shipped from factory to Chicago then they are allocated out snow check first. That where yamaha has a wear house. That's what a little bird told me.

Hey deer huntr sit tight I got a feeling it will be well worth it. I'm thinking this could be the ultimate trail sled. Loved my apexs but for the trails these could be a lot more fun!!

Could be a whole lot worse. A couple of years ago when AC released the ProCross chassis, some didn't get their sleds until January and a number of riders that placed orders were refused delivery. Imagine selling your old sled during the summer thinking you were getting a new sled, then to be told you're not getting one? That would be a p!$$er.
Hang in tight DeerHuntr, it'll get here soon enough. You're just getting a little antsy, that's all. I'm getting a little antsy that it hasn't gotten cold yet.

That is more or less the situation on the SR Vipers here in Sweden. They say delivery in January and a lot of guys who ordered already in March are not getting a sled. Their orders were cancelled due to lack of sleds. Really strange since it was still 6 months to start of production when they placed their orders
I bought a 2013 Ski Doo Rene 1200 last Spring. Got a great deal on it. I will ride it this year and then get a Viper when the next model is released. Going to give one year for growing pains. I want real bad but can wait one model year. I love the white and blue 137.

OK DH, I gotta as WHY? MN won't have snow until December so why would you defect so early?
I'd rather have the last of the run to get all the "updates" possible.
Besides, the closer the timeline is between when you pay for it, and when you ride it, is ideal IMHO.
Just sayin'
