How much "stuff" can you put in a tank bag?

Nice, looks larger on the sled then it did in the catalog. I can see how it would be possible to fit quite a bit of stuff in there!
Any issues with clearance between the bag and how should I put this, "the sensitive area" of the body?!:-)

I'm thinking I like this one. SMA-8GL83-DL-00
Hard to tell if it's really bigger or not from catalog.
Anyone have photos of this one installed?

Mach9...That is the one installed on the picture on my sled...

Mine came in today. We have about a foot of snow on the ground, so figured that I may as well install it and take a few hot laps around the house!
It's super easy to install, set the bag on the sled, locate and rivit 4 snaps on the tunnel, put the hood back on and your good to go.
There is plenty of space! I emptied out the nose and windshield bags in to the tank bag with room to spare.

I could feel it on my legs when standing like Grimm mentioned. It's soft though and doesn't feel in the way when moving around on the sled. Playing around the house and "side hilling" through the ditches, I didn't even notice that it was there!
I like the idea that it moved all the extra "stuff" weight to the center of the sled as well. ;)!

It looks like this bag may be a good option for me as well. Do you think it will fit with a trail tank? I can't see why not, I guess someone has installed one with a trail tank.

Not sure if it will fit with the trail tank. The front attachment points clip on to the stock black plastics that cover the OEM tank. I believe that when you install a trail tank, these black plastic pieces are removed. There could be another way to secure the front straps though.
Maybe someone who has a trail tank will chime in!
