Last service I had at the dealer I had the bearing behind the primary replaced. This caused some oil loss so they did an oil change. At the beginning of this season I inspected the oil. It had about 30-40min of run time on it since the oil change. It looked awful dark, so I drained it. See pic. Does the oil get dark that fast or is it likely the oil was not changed?

Good oil will get dark. It is the high quality additives or detergents that clean the engine.

That's pretty dark for that short of a run time in my opinion. I had over 1000km's on my oil last year and don't remember it being that dark at all. I bet they forgot to change the oil. Just my opinion though....I would have drained it too!
