does anyone have an electronic copy of how to change the oil on the phazer or nytro? my manual shows how to chnge the oil minus the filter. who has changed the oil filter and how much of a bitch is it? my dealer wants 100-125 bucks for the nytro oil change. i think the phazer is easier though.....whats the deal guys?????

$125 to change the oil...........wow, I smell rip off. It's so friggin easy to change the oil on the Nytro. Follow your owners manual and report back here if you have any questions. Shouldn't take you more then an hour, and thats with looking the manual over several times. But be prepared to get bent over when you buy your oil filter. I think I paid about $15 for one.

where the hell is the oil filter anyways?
no, i bought 3 sleds this year and filers wouldnt rock at all on there prices so i drove to PA and Albany to get my sleds.
thanks for the offer, i just need to figure out where the oil filer is. and yes, i believe the filer is the same as my vmax cylce, 15 bucks!!!!

You have to pull the bottom access panel off. FXNytro will be easy, the phazer is a bit more "hidden". The filter will be in plain sight on the nytro. The phazer you will need to pull the airbox and squeee in there to et it out.

be sure to check when you remove the old filter you pull the old o-ring off the block. Mine stuck but i caught it before i put the new filter on. Ive heard some people blowing motors because of this.

the oil change is a snap and you dont have to look at the valves untill 40000 kms at least!!! change the oil at the end of the season and new filter and hell turn the key and go!!!!
