How to access battery on my Vector?

Could somebody give a quick step by step on how to get at the battery? Anything to watch out for?

I want to re-wire my Optimate charger so I can plug it in by my right foot. Wire is too short right now?

The airbox needs to come off and it's right there. Toolbox out, air cleaner out, three hose clamps on the carbs...I forget where the screws are.


There is a vent tube that goes under the airbox. It's best to remove it from the oil tank, rather than try and get it together on the sled. Also be sure to reattach all the vent tubes.
