I'm going to replace the hyfax and notice this single shot has a different tension system. How would I move forward? I see there is a bolt looking thru the windows. But it doesn't look like it would do much. I'll study it further but worried about screwing it up as I'm riding tomorrow am early.

The two bolts (one on each side) is what you either loosen or tighten to adjust track tension. Doing so will cause the shaft holding your rear idler wheels to either move forward or backwards but you first need to loosen the rear axle nut. Not sure what or how you used to do it but this is not unique to the Single Shot suspension; I do the same on my 08 Apex with the mono, the 03 RX-1 with the NoProaction and even the AD Boivin Expert-X suspension that in it currently. Here's a schematic of my 18 Apex XTX with Single Shot suspension. As you tighten or loosen the nuts highlighted, it will move your rear axle and allow you to adjust your deflection.

thanks for the fast reply. I did what you said and have one hyfax off. I didn't take the nuts off all the way as the track loosened right away. I am putting on the dupont hyfax as I type and see it's thicker so hope this goes well. When and if I'd done today I'll post back to update the final outcome,The two bolts (one on each side) is what you either loosen or tighten to adjust track tension. A nice perk of the Ice Storm track is their rather large window openings:

nice... I cut windows to get the hyfax out the it took care of adjusting bolts as well. Now I have a different problem. I noticed the upper idler wheel c clip that holds the bearing to the wheel on the inside has come off and the bearing is working it's way out. I never took this single shot skid apart except to install the hygear shock so I'm bummed. I will need someone strong and able to help me get the wheels out and back up.
