HOW TO GET GRIPS OFF????

has any one removed old grips?? I pulled them off no prob!
But I need to re-use the heaters on the bars!!
They are glued on, what can I use to re-move the glue and not hurt the heater??

I know the old HOT GRIPs were molded together... Im not sure about the new hooked handlbars..

they are the new 07 bars, they look to have a glue on them,
but if i use a thiner it will eat away at the heater part

Acetone should remove the glue and not hurt the heater, try it on a small area or rubber prep I use when repairing tires it takes the glue right off rims from the tape weights
