I have the OFT steering relocate kit in my Nytro and like it but, I also hate it because it completely blocks my view of my gage cluster. I removed the upper body work, removed the dash panel and then took the gage cluster off of the dash panel. Next I traced the face of the panel that the cluster is mounted to on the back of a beer box (yes I was drinking the beer that came out of the box while doing this) and cut it out. I then raised the two bottom mounting holes and the hole the wiring goes through on the template 1.75" and cut them out - see picture of template attached. I taped the template to the face plate of the dash panel, traced the new holes and then used a new sheetrock blade and drill bit to create the new holes. I remounted the cluster and put everything back together. I could only use the lower two bolts to mount the cluster to the face plate of the dash panel because the upper mounting hole cannot be raised 1.75". I am going to find a small "L" bracket to attach the upper mount to the top of the dash panel. To hide the old mounting/wiring holes, I traced the template out on a 1.50" thick piece of dense open cell foam and used the electric carving knife to carve it out. I had to trim it a little to fit and then used window shrink film tape on the back of it to stick it to the face plate of the dash panel below the cluster. I left a little extra foam at the top so that the foam has to be compressed to get it to fit. I am hoping that and the tape keep it in place. It finished the dash panel off nicely and allows under hood heat to come out of the old mounting holes. All of this cost me $0.00, Ok so the 12 pack of beer was $9.59.
I can now see the cluster easily. I am only 5' 7" so this would probably work really well for taller folks. I have attached a pic of my view from the seat and one of the foam after I cut and installed it.

Damn the pictures didn't come through. I am going to have to reduce their file size and attach them from work tomorrow - stay posted (no pun intended)

Rode about 250 miles last weekend everything stayed in place but I definitely need to get a bracket to secure the top mounting boss to the top of the dash panel. Without it the cluster shook too much for my liking.
