How to remove heim joints on the steering?

I'm trying to replace the two heim joints just above the exhaust donuts and but can't get them to break free. Any advise? Is there a special tool that I should be using? The one behind the chaincase would be hard to get at with much of anything.

nevermind, I just got them off. I used a tierod fork.
