I was just wondering does anybody something different than a doo, thats the only sled i'v heard compared to the fx nitro, My brother has a 2006 Fusion, dragon package, and i liked the way this sled felt but it cornerd a little to much to where it wanted to tip. Of course the c&a skis proably helped this. I was wondering if anybody rode the new dragon and the fx nitro, and wondered if they felt simlilar. I rode the Fx nitro at haydays but it was on the dirt, I recived my fx nitro on october 6th.

I rode them both on snow. The dragon 700 is a real nice sled, has very good power and the ergos were very comfortable. Suspension on this sled is awesome too, nice n stiff for bangin around. Only two things not so great that I noticed were not enough lug, needed a 1.5 for better grip (which was installed shortly after), and the running boards were narrow, even the owner complained about it often, his boots would slip off when getting into the good stuff and throwing the sled side to side (he's a VERY aggressive rider). The FX Nytro, on the other hand, doesn't have an issue with the running board's width, well, not unless you wear a size 25 or so ! They're wide, very wide, so if you miss planting yourself on these, you screwed up ! I hear some guys are concerned about sidehilling with the wider boards, guess we'll see. The power on the Nytro seemed to me very similar to the Apex, ergos were similar to a Rev except the seat is at least 6-8 inches higher, so you're not cramped up and there's no excessive knee bend (which is exactly what I was looking for). The suspension on the FX Nytro RTX felt similar to the Dragon too, maybe a bit stiffer, but built for a purpose. This sled needs a taller lug as well, all that power would match better with a 1.5 track. Both sleds felt light, but the Nytro felt more powerful, more than likely due to the torque. That's my honest opinion, I really considered a new Dragon this year after I test rode his, but I can't wait to line it up with this guy, he's gonna get a BIG surprise ! :4STroke:

I rode My buddies Dragon a few times last year. Its a great machine IMO. I am expecting My Nytro RTX to be just as good or better thru the nasty stuff as his Dragon. Infact he is even getting excited about riding My Nytro and coming back to camp blue. We've been speculating the outcome of drag racing these sleds for months now. He is a pretty good tuner and always checking out Dyno results and he's very impressed with all the low end torque of the Nytro. We'll see!!!!!
