my 03 rx1 developed more h.p. after the 1000 mile mark.
are these 500,s going to be the same way or will the power stay
relatively the same from new to fully broke-in?

A properly broke in engine should maintain its HP longer then vice versa.
I've never heard of an engine developing more HP with time? I mean if things were too tight and took 1000 miles to wear in thats cool, but Id prefer all my moving parts to be seated properly after 150 miles tops.
I did notice what I think was greater timing advance after 20 miles though.

TY 4 Stroke God
Several magazines tried to prove that the 4 strokes made more power after 500 miles, but none of them could prove it on a dyno..

I believe the Nytro did because when i first rode it for the first coupel of hundred miles the speedo only would go to 80-85 now it gets up to 111 how fast is it really no clue but makes me think it they do have a break in period
