I got beat bad by a Mack Z yesterday so I think its time to get a move on with some performance mods as I have up to now been concerned with handling. I felt like a 600 VS 800 it was not even a race, sled was reving 10,600-10,700 and has 1500 km and gets about 180km per tank of fuel.

I got the Hauck get ur done kit on my attak and love it,not fully dialed in yet but it should be this weekend going to houghton lake this week end. THe pipe sounds bad a$$ to me , I know the fuel remaping is great if you turn it all the way up it will stall the motor so i know its putting fuel to it, adding more this week will find out how much it will take with different mods . One of the big problems is hook up. :bling Todd

I had left already but heard that JTS smoked a Hauck modded sled with his Ulmer clutched Attak on the lake at the TY ride in Muni.......

All im gonna say is turn to page 27 and page 29 of your AMERICAN SNOWMOBILE magazine..

Benders Apex.. 10.472 at 121.92mph. (stock execpt clutching)

Hauck Powersports 10.804 at 121.73mph (with GET-R-DUN kit installed)

Both have equal 1/8mile MPH and 1/4 mile MPH..

Hauck claims 162HP!
Stock apex claimed 149hp!

Make your own asumptions from there..

Actually Welt, the Bender Apex had a 10.5" x 121" track with an aftermarket skid which will help in the performance of the sled alot. The Hauck sled had a 15" x 121" track. Those facts should be known before anyone tries to justify anything off of the asphalt results.

You should come to Cadillac. There is a non sanctioned grudge race on Saturday. You can race all day without being harassed by the DNR for 15.00. It's about 1 hour to Cadillac from Houghton.

Dirk I will deffently take you up on that soon, this weekend to houghton lk the following weekend the I 500 then its open to all fun .I would never say my sled is the fastest I think it runs real good .but on snow or ice you never know ,hook up is key . My sled is set up for trails for now ,I havent figured out a good race / trail set up yet on the stud thing.

Hey Brian, not all is true there........those 2 machines had different tracks, 1 wide, and 1 narrow. The Hauck machine was spinning to beat the bandit. I saw this first hand. Keith is also very short, compared the the Hauck rider, who was taller than me.

I was up with hook-n-book, and bteliminator. They both have the kit, and bt was always ahead of me by a sled or 2. This was from rolling, stopped, and all kinds of conditions. The Hauck machines have stock tracks with pics. Jt's machine was hookin' up, that's all I can say. I can see it working well, as I saw it first hand, but will stay with my nitrous. That day on the lake, there wasn't anything that beat me on the bottle until I ran out.

Welterracer seems to me you have hard feelings towards haucks parts .I like what I have bought from them so far , Im sure there not just blowing smoke on there hp #s thats not good busness and from talking with them many times they seem to be the type of people I like spending my money with. I will be pulling some dyno pulls with my sled , 1) when I find someone that has a dyno for a sled 2) when I get fully dialed in. ;)! ;)!
