Well fellas, after not a lot of snow, but one killer poker run last month.
We're loading up the sleds for the RAP TOUR (round Algonquin Park).
The "Hurricane Nytro" with Dave's full Hindle/PC5/clutch kit will be put
to the test again. It kicked #*$&@ on the poker run. Now we'll test it's mileage
and long distance feel. Part 3 will be the Sharbot Lake Ice Drags Feb 27th.
Couldn't get a Kolpic fuel system mounted for the tour soon enough so the
wee jerry can will have to do. It may have been a short winter, but i'll take
what i can get ;)!

Awesome! Have fun!! Conditions should be good until the rains falls!!! Always wanted to do the RAP! That Nytro is so fast it should be able to complete the tour in 2 days now instead of 4!!!

We'll see what happens BURG!

Lol, I've been putting that kit to the test from its conception....tried a true! Got 105 miles to a tank and I wasn't babying it until the 92nd mile lol

Thanks for your info shadow44. Looking fwd to this tour!

Fwiw, I was running 101-102 mph in 1000' and my clutching is off as I was over revving at 9330 rpm. I've found this set up runs strongest at 9050. Looking forward to hearing how it works out for you!

Sounds close, my sweet spot is 8850-8900. It'll run to 99-100 w the gearing
as is. The sled was owned by Shawn Elmhirst from Keane before I acquired it.
He did it up pretty good. He was Yamaha's Snowcross guy for a bit. Let's hope
the Sharbot Lake drags are still on by the end of RAP. I'd like to run it full
tilt before seasons end.

*I do have the Exciter mod sled to let the boy run too. Rings just sat last wknd.
We're awaiting 8DN ramps at the moment. Go Go CANPAR.
