Changing the hyfax... didn't drop the skid like normal because i wanted to try the "easy reverse" method and I cant get the hyfax into one of the holes. All I have done is peel one edge of the hyfax off up to the front bend where the track is too tight to peel it off any further... anyone want to chime in before i just pull the skid?

Update: Tried the reverse technique... failed miserably. I worked for 2 hrs taking one side off and it came off in pieces. Anyone have a video, because the idea of changing both in 10 minutes isnt happening here. heh The video in the search function is dead. I'm retiring until tomo... who would have thought that after having the sled completely torn apart... that changing the hyfax without dropping the skid would be the most challenging. Any help for tomorrow would be appreciated.
Thanks

The reverse thing worked slick as h@#$ for me, just knock it back with a hammer and chisel threw the hole in the track and crank it up , put it in reverse and whoa lah, there off, its as easy as that--- no problem, in fact I have to do it again, soon, any questions?

I did the reverse trick twice last year.
Workes great.
One time I left the parking brake on and thought... Humm, it worked better last time. Then quickly realized the brake was on.

Well, my hyfax curled up like a pretzel and almost took out 4 new boogies I installed and who knows what else.
