Hyfax length

I was looking at the hyfax I replaced and there seems to be about an inch or so of rail without hyfax on it. I slightly over trimmed my hyfax compared to the one I took off, maybe 1/4"-1/2". It does look like the rear skid wheels will keep the track away from the uncovered portion of the skids rail. Do you think I will be fine?

You should have no problems as long as the rear wheels keep the track from hitting it.
