Hyfax slider size for 08 Apex MTX

Hello,
I have a 2008 Apex MTX SE 163 and after 715 miles the sliders are worn to the wear line in a couple spots. I am looking to replace them, but cannot seem to find the same length slides anywhere. The ones on the sled now measure approx 63" and every website I have found that has slides that would fit the profile are 56 7/8" long. Does anyone know anywhere that sells longer slides that will fit a 163" Apex MTX? Alternatively, will it hurt anything to install the shorter slides?

Wow... I would have thought all of you MTX owners would have a solid source for sliders since it seems these sleds chew through them rather quickly. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it. My local dealer recommends replacing with 56.87" sliders but I would be losing about 6" of slider. Does that matter at all?

it depends where they end. in the aftermarket catoulouge i use, they spec the same slides for my xtx as the mtx. i usually have to trim them down for the 11 xtx. as to duponts, i hear they have discontinued them for the mtx's. i do not use them personally as i got 10000 miles on the cheap kimpex slides on the 2011 xtx.

Maim - do you remember approximately how much you had to cut off to fit the XTX?

it was about 6" if memory serves but i did them back in august.
