hyfax

Got mine at my local dealership - reg price is 67 bucks each. Some might sell it to you for less. Proof will be in the riding this year - only have 2km on them so far. From the positive reviews I've seen on here - I'm hoping they were worth the extra cash.

I have about 350 miles on mine so far. And with the crappy conditions we've been riding in, I'd say only half of that was on actual snow. So far they look like they are brand new. If I had been running the old regular stuff, I certainly would have burned through a set or two because of the low snow we've been riding in.

I give them a big thumbs up! ;)!

I destroyed a regular set last week in 60 miles, down to the 1/8" range. 80 miles on the DuPont today and look like new.. I'm speechless to tell you the truth. I deal with exotic metals everyday and I'm impressed.

For what you will pay for those high Dollie slides you can get the SB wheels or excel wheel kit..I put polaris wheels on my sled and have 2800 miles on my slides and still look new ;)!

I just bought 6 wheels from Recreation Supply in Saskatoon that are 135mm listed in the Yamaha wheels and in brackets they say they are for less hyfax wear. They look like the back wheels with the spokes in them. Didn't change out the center ones on the front skid shock, instead I got a longer bolt and put one wheel there and then another one the next hole back that gave enough clearance and then replaced the stock rear small one. There was no wear on the sliders there but did it to make them all the same on the outside. Kind of like the way Ski Doo did on their skids a few years back. Two wheels close together.

Guys in Manitoba can probably get them from Sun & Snow. Royal also has them. Nice thing about Polaris wheels is that they have the 6205 bearing which is bigger then what Yamaha uses.. I have a cheap source of 6005 bearings so I went with the Yamaha ones.
