Can anyone help with wear problem. Buddys 2011
vector wears hyfax mostly infront of the wheels. After 20 miles on new, front 6 inches was already worn. I pulled front limiter up two holes. Will this solve or any other suggestions?

Lots of posts on here if you do a search but here are some of the suggestions:
-tightening limiter strap should help at the front
-running the track as loose as possible witout ratcheting
-bigger idler wheels is what most people are doing
-ice scratchers
-kick snow into skid before riding in low snow conditions
-keep an eye on the wear, sometimes it wears quickly at first and then stops
-my experience is that tracks with all windows open let the snow out faster and wear the hyfax quicker

Pioneer performance sells a wheel lowering kit. It consists of solid machined aluminum wheel mounts that lower the wheels thus reducing hyfax wear. Very nice pieces, must stronger than yamahas cheesy 'new' multi-piece 2 bolt wheel mounts. My 10 Vec ltx wore slides fast and was impossible to ride in thin or icy conditions before, now no problem. I have this on my Rage also and has proven to me to be the real fix, along with small wheel kit at front bend in rail, where you are wearing fast. I don't think Bruce has the MY10> kit on his web site yet, but he has them. call him.
