Hi All,

Actually, it’s not hypothetical, it’s a bone head mistake I made and am wondering what changes I can expect to feel once the snow flies.

Last year I cleaned my secondary and accidentally twisted the secondary to 30 instead of 60 degrees. I still thought the sled ran great. When I cleaned it this year, I noticed my mistake and changed it to 60 degrees twist.

Will there be a noticeable difference or not? What might I notice?

Cheers,
Chris

Generally, if you increase the wind on the secondary spring, you increase your shift and peak rpms. Your sled will back shift faster as well. If your seld was not running at the correct rpms, you should notice a difference. You might want to check your belt while you're at it. Just my two cents.

Last year the best RPM's I could get was 10,200. Mayby I will be at 10,500 now, where I want to be.

Cheers,
Chris
