No, the sky is not falling lol. I have an RTX-SE, that on occasion, will sputter when grabbing a handful of throttle. I can keep it pinned, and the motor will rev, then stall, then rev, then stall. It's like I've got hydraulics...skis up, skis down...it only does this on occasion. It's like it's detonating, then refiring. Stock tune, just a clutch kit... any ideas where to start looking?? One guy has told me to check the fuel vent, so I'll start there!
Thanks guys, Keith

You may be hitting the rev limiter.

Put the stock clutching back in it and see if it still does it.

Happened to me. Thought it was bad gas. Yamaha told my dealer that the sled may behave this way for a short while as the "break in Chip" "burns out". Not sure if my lingo is correct. Mine did it over about 40 miles and then was fine.
A longshot, but when it happens again, check if you are lower on gas, the G forces when you throttle up could be throwing the gas to the back of the tank causing intermittent supply.??

I have never heard of any Yamaha or cat ever having any chip to burn out,but if true, that is great news, means these monsters are going to be even more dominate than they are now. Anyone else heard of a chip in this new ECU,any ECU flash guys want to chime in!Happened to me. Thought it was bad gas. No chip or anything. Any 4 stroke will get better as it loosens up with miles on it. But no magic amount of hours or miles that is gonna flip a switch

I never heard that before. I don't think that's true.
I've noticed something that seems like this when after idling too long and got the warning too hot temp... It wasn't very extreme... Just a stutter...As soon as I ran it and light when out.. It stopped...
Plan to add coolant and re pressurize system.
Not sure if this is the same but throwing it out there

What are you doing to re pressurize system? When I noticed coolant level low I simply added some to resevoir. Did I miss a step?
