I hear alot of talk about air box mods and carb springs

I ride here in alot of powder snow and i want to keep the stock air box. What mods can i do to it and i know yellow springs Holts.

Anyone know a site or pics i can see whats done

Now i was thinking of drilling holes in the filter cover and maybe some small holes in the lower case for more air flow.

Yeah i was looking at doing this was considering this. As i do alot of powder ridding and last air filters i had got full of snow and sled stopped runing.

OK finally here are some pics sorry it took so long

I am gonna leave the guts in but the cover that is under lid and over the filter im gonne cut more holes in it and the lower part of the box take the elbow out and use a hole saw 1" and cut two more holes beside the inlet and im gonna get the carbs for 160mains and run red holts springs. And then do a few runs and jet it up and see how its worksl. then race my buddies rx-1 that is faster then me

here is my prob friend has the kn filter on and it makes a difference but when we go of trail he is having alot of filters freezing up and his sled is a pig on gas cause of it. I wanted to keep the stock box so it looks stock and i will not have to worry about the snow creezing the filters up.

I figure make the air box flow a bit better would help me out a bit.
