Ok so i took the shock out...brought it to my buddies garage and I took it apart..With the bare shock and no spring..if I turn the cable adjuster to full soft I can squat it down and it opens up at the same rate as I could squat it down...if I twist the cable adjuster all the other way and squat the shock down...it will just barely want to open it moves but so slow ..would take probably 30 seconds to open full...So who thinks my shock is f#*!*.....

K what is supposed to hold the sled up if there is no spring??? Correct me if I am wrong, but does the spring not do most of the work, (support the sled weight)?

That is correct. That is why when you set it up for your weight it is based on the spring compression. The shock dampens the hit and controls the return. I had a rear shock blow out once and was spanked all the way home. Not a fun night ride home.
