LB - not sure why you are so against EFI, I would never go carbs again, the constant cleaning, syncronzing, etc was just a PITA. No the choke is not difficult to operate but that is not why I like EFI.

Now you seafoam the gas and park it only to have it fire up instantly 3 months later.

EFI gets just as dirty as carbs. The only differences is that you CAN'T clean it. If you're constantly having to go and clean out the carbs, it means you're doing something wrong.

EFI does get as dirty as carbs,but it only takes injector cleaner to clean because of the high pressure vs. gravity. Keep a relay in your pocket,takes two minutes to change. Oh and you gotta love how carbs perform in 40 degree weather swings in spring riding. The way they perform with 4 thousand foot elevation changes also. You have to be joking.

Yeah 45psi and on my SC apex up to 55 psi of fuel pressure no gunk will stick around very long. One can of seafoam a year and its clean. Doesn't get any easier then that.

I also like how when something is screwed up the computer tells you what it is. Its like a onboard TY forum

anyone who would perfer carbs over efi just has no idea how efi works and how simple it really is. My Dad was bitchin about not being able to work on his car anymore and how he missed carbs, but hes's 65 years old, then I explained to him that cars havent been carbed since the late 80's early 90's, 20 years or so.
