For those of you that have Ice age rails, what did you use for wheels? I hear they are made for 8" rear wheels. Did you use the stock axle & just replace the stock wheels with 8" & what wheels did you use?

Ice Age makes the size wheels that you specify. If you want to run stock wheels you can.

So Iceage also sells the 8" wheels to fit the stock axle or do they make the rails to fit the stock wheels?

They will make the rails to fit stock wheels if that's what you want to run, or 8" if that's what you want. The slot that the axle goes thru is cut at a different height depending on which wheel you want to run. There are several custom options that you can have them add to your rails.
my IceAge Rails will be for stock wheels...

Couldn't you use your stock axle & just get 8" wheels for it?

Yes, if you want to run 3 wheels. Ice Age sells a 2 wheel setup.

I was also looking at going to 2 x 8" w/ my Ice Age (currently setup for 3x 8")
I was considering spacering the stock axle to fit / run 2 inside, and then looked at Ice Ages site and saw they have a kit already... Fairly cheap too. Think I'm going that route, that way if the 2x kit doesn't "work" for me, I can go back to 3 easily.
I have run 2s on my past sleds, and I felt they worked better FOR ME...
I'm not sure if I'll run into issues at 200+ HP though.
Plenty say to run 3 to keep proper alignment under full boost/power... But most of those guys I think are also running 15#s + . .
I'll see how it works..
