I'll probably have over 7,000mi on my 22Tcat by the end of this season, and my oem rip2 is showing plenty of wear. It isn't missing any lugs, I never studded it, but the clips are worn and the lugs all look quite eroded.
For the folks that have put on the Ice°Arrowhead 130, how is it holding up? I've never had one of the pre-studded tracks and I'm really curious how this track compares to the other pre-studded tracks in performance and durability.
Thanks.

Being the track is on snow for the first time this season the questions on longevity and durability will only be answered in time. In a couple of weeks I will have about 2,500 miles on mine. There are a lot of good post in the thread "New track offering" on its performance though.

2,500mi on a 200hp+ sled is still a pretty good test. Please cough up a review and some pics after the season, thanks.Being the track is on snow for the first time this season the questions on longevity and durability will only be answered in time. Well, how's it looking? My ending miles is now 8,150 and the oem rip2 getting ugly. One of my top concerns is noise/vibration I'm assuming it should be as durable as the rip2.2,500mi on a 200hp+ sled is still a pretty good test. Please cough up a review and some pics after the season, thanks.

The arrowhead track performed great, it looks as good as the day I put in on. Had a chance today to look it over really good, zero damage to the lugs and all studs intact. Now I did ride in great snow conditions all season...nothing marginal this year. As far as noise and or vibrations, in good snow you don't feel or hear anything different vs. a rip2. On plowed county roads there is a howl but it's not overly loud.Well, how's it looking? My ending miles is now 8,150 and the oem rip2 getting ugly. One of my top concerns is noise/vibration I'm assuming it should be as durable as the rip2.

If it were me, I would put a fully clipped Rip2 back on it. If you do not want to use regular studs, I would consider the Woody's Twist screws in the lugs.I'll probably have over 7,000mi on my 22Tcat by the end of this season, and my oem rip2 is showing plenty of wear. I thought of that too, now at 8150mi I know exactly what to expect from the rip2.If it were me, I would put a fully clipped Rip2 back on it. If you do not want to use regular studs, I would consider the Woody's Twist screws in the lugs.
I've made up my mind now, I'm gonna do the Ice Arrowhead, haven't heard one bad review and it looks like a hearty track. Seems to be just what I'm looking for and should last just as long. I think most of my wear is just from spinning and locking up( on good surfaces). I'm thinking this new track may spin less for my desired acceleration.

I just pulled the trigger on the Ice Arrowhead 130 as well for my XTX 146" track. Stock Cobra 1.6 didn't even last 1,000 miles this year. Looking forward to a stiffer track with more traction and the Ice Arrowhead should be the ticket.

What happened to it? Is it studded? What kind of conditions was it ridden in?Stock Cobra 1.6 didn't even last 1,000 miles this year
I don't like to hear this, I just bought a sled with that track.

A bunch of lugs ripped off! I didn't get a chance to inspect my entire track as I just noticed it on my last ride of the year, but at initial glance I saw 9 lugs missing once I got my sled loaded in the trailer. Conditions for the 1,000 miles where is pretty good conditions, with about 650 up in the U.P. and the remaining 350 miles in Northern WI. Trail conditions were pretty good there too. I did put the recommended iGrips in the lugs as the Cobra 1.6 comes predrilled for them. Here is was a quick picture of one of the lugs missing on my '25 XTX LE.

Cobra's always looked flimsy to me, doesn't make sense on a 200+hp machine

ugly. I have been getting conflicting reports on these Cora tracks. I am going 240 hp, I wonder if the track will take it? I also will be adding 2 studs per barA bunch of lugs ripped off! My 1.6 Ice Cobra on my Lynx started spitting lugs at 3,000 miles, and that is on a 180hp sled that will barely crack 100mph, GPS. My tuned SW would have munched this track in no time, but I did a lot of speed riding with that sled.
IMO, these tracks don’t hold up well to lots of high speed riding. I will probably try the Ice Arrowhead next season.
