New track offering, 1.3 Arrowhead

Just got mine today, very meaty. Tough to handle without bleeding...lol.
Mine came in yesterday as well. The inside of the cardboard box that it came in was all tore up from the studs. I am looking forward to putting some miles on this track. The 1.6 ice cobra that I am replacing was shot most of last season and offered a little traction.

when you say "shot" you mean lugs folded over?

Yes. They became folded over and or weak. I lost 9 lugs on the outside last winter. I was happy with the track for 2k or so miles, but after that it was downhill. Mine is only a single ply though. Yours will have less balloning.

I am nervous about this Cobra 1.6 track. I haven't seen many good things regarding durability.
146 track options are limited. I would love a 1.25 option.

My dad has 10,000 miles on his factory 2 ply Cobra on his XTX, with Igrips. But he only rides the Canadian super highways on a stock tune.

I put on the 1.3 Ice Arrowhead on my '25 XTX this summer after my Ice Cobra 1.6 at 1,000 was destroyed. Lost a ton of lugs and one side was completely tore. Anxious to try the 1.3 Arrowhead.

I also installed an Arrow on my 2017 Winder at the end of last year. Looking forward to giving it a good rip this season. I love the idea of this track so I really hope it will hold up. This would be my first choice for a go to track with traction.

How in F did that happen in 1000 miles?

Ha! No idea! I was pretty upset the track didn't last long at all on a new sled. Very excited to see how the Ice Arrowhead performs though.

Ice arrowhead installed on my Tcat, going to run it this Monday December 8th in oldforge for the first time...very excited, almost first ride on a new sled excited!

Update: I ran the ice arrowhead for about 1000kms last year. The track is by far the best track I have run. For comparison, I normally run a 1.5 Ripsaw 2 with studs. This track has more traction, more top speed than that that. It grips well on ice, hard pack, corners better than a 1.25.

are you saying this track bites better than a 1.5 with studs?

Good to hear reviews on it.
Storm 1.5 two ply studded is best i have run so far. The paddle scoop design on the Storm 1.5 gets traction in the snow big time.
Edit; I have not run the arrowhead track to compair ....
