hi guys...
At the being of this season I installed the star 129 relocate kit on my 2013 nytro and ended up putting a 129" rip 2 1.5" track, great track for trail riding and 90% of my riding is in northern Ontario so I've never ran studs, with this crazy winter we're having with all the thawes I had a bit of a scare on my latest trip, hit a glare ice spot on a river and the sled did a few tight spins before it stopped, luckily the sled didn't roll on me, so my question is would an ice attack xt or any pre studded track be enough on a nytro for safety reasons only ? I don't race off the line I just want to keep the rear from getting away on glare ice...
Thanks in advanced...

Hey Fabio! I ran the ice attak xt on my xtx this season. Works awesome. Good hookup on ice to keep you planted through turns. I ran alot of icy situations this season with confidence.Under hard throttle still allows the rear end to hang out thus not pushing you through corners like traditional studs. Every lug is studded from what i remember. Big thumbs up ;)!and i came from traditional studs. No more worries of ripping heat exchangers out either. Now im 144 so theres a little more track on the ground then yours. But i think you would be happy with it

Thanks bud...
I just wanted to get opinions on the pre studded track, I've been getting so many different opinions that I'm confused lol... some guys are telling me that on glare ice and being that I have a nytro the rear might still let go of can get dangerous on ice...
I definitely dont want to experience loosing control again, looks like I will go with the ice attack xt...

Fabio, do it you will love it! it gives you the control of about 2 studs per paddle! I have the exact same setup. I will never go back to studs!

Farmer 73 thanks for the reply...
Have you tried it on glare ice or a lake with minimal snow ? This is my first year on a nytro so I don't know if this is normal for a nytro but even on snow covered roads between trails the rear end wants to get loose, I know there is ice under the snow on the road obviously but it feels nerve wrecking, maybe it's the rip 2 track, it's like walking with sneakers on a sidewalk after a ice storm lol...

With the ice attack xt the sled stays planted unless you want to throttle the backend around. If you want to change tracks this is what I would switch to you will be happy with it. I have a 11/4" ice attack!

I'm in Sudbury right now riding my Viper with a stock track. The lakes up here are glare ice and difficult to cross. I'm riding with a ski doo and a vector both with the ice attack and they are having no problems on the ice. I've been running my nytro for several years now with the prestudded track and it works great. I'll most likely be installing one on my Viper before the start of next season.

Thanks grizztracks...
Last week in Dubreuilville I had a good scare and definitely will be putting on the ice attack track...
I sent you an email about that subframe you have for sale...
