Just a quick pic of the ice build up on my tunnel. It finnally snowed in the prairies and we were busting up all the fresh deep snowbanks on the weekend. This is the most ice buildup i have seen on my tunnel. Should i be concerned. It was cold. The warmest it got to was -16 Deg C.
the next morning it was -38 Deg C and my Apex was the only sled to start without a boost.

WOW! that is a lot of ice, I wouldn't want to bottom out with that much ice I'd be a little concern of buckling my tunnel, thats a LOT of extra weight on that extension...but in these cold temperatures its prone to build up more ice, I run a 136" w/rear heat exchager so lots of it melts off but still builds some ice when the temp drops...

Spraying the rear tunnel before each use with furniture polish helps prevent the ice buildup .

Does cooking spray really prevent ice build up?
