Ice Buildup in Steerin

Having a problem with ice buildup in the engine bay that makes both of my Vipers hard to steer. This is most noticeable when being on the trail for a few days and unable to bring the sleds into a warm garage to thaw them out. The ice will buildup to the point that it starts pushing out thru the boots. It turns into a block of ice inside the chasis. Has anyone else had this problem and what did you do to correct it?
