I bought a set of Holz Ice scratchers and started to put them on and decided not to. I decided not to due to the fact that the upper track guide wheel could come down and break them off....as well as the fact I didn't think I should remove the front Bogie wheel because it held the guide to the spring on the suspension. Has anyone put a set on that attach to the rails, and if so could you please post picts. I'm looking for anything to get spray in my track. Thanks

It look's like most guys are using them on their ski's

I don't know if you will have the same luck as me with my SCRX-1mtn but I put my scratchers just ahead of the front h-arm mounting location and removed all the bogie wheels. I have ran the sled down hard packed trail with a 162"x2"x15" track fully clipped at over 90 MPH for long distances and the hyfax still has about 90% wear left after 800+ miles.
The water temps stay at 160ish and there shouldn't be a problem with the scratchers catching the bogies up in the tunnel since they ride out to the side far enough when down to clear them.

Oh, forgot.....$50. for the adaptor only and another $65. for the scratchers.
Expensive, but much thicker than MPI's.

Yes, brackets and wheel cradles come together. I had to bend out the front part of the cradle. I took off the two rear outer wheels as well.
Richard shipped it to me for $50 including all costs.

I was surprised, I got it in 2 days.

Re: scratchers
I'll get one for you guys later today. I'll take two; one with them hooked over the rails and one with them "deployed" for action. In the mean time, here is a closer pic of the wife's RMK with holtz scratchers and all the wheels still in place.

Sorry it took so long to get the close up pics of my holtz scratchers. I got side tracked after taking the pictures
. Anyhow, here they are as promised (one deployed and one with them up). You should be able to see how much ife is left on the hyfax also. This is after 850 miles of boosted track speed.
