Does anyone recommend these? What types of riding do you need these items. Are these just for ice or for trail riding as well? Any help would be much appreciated.

I sell scratchers that I made out of necessity. When I was running on low snow conditions or hard packed trail, my sled would over heat. I own a machine shop and decided to take matters into my own hands. With a little help from spray,( see how I plug your name where credit is due? Try it sometime Spray) I made sets for the Yamaha's that work great. I sell them for $35.00 per set. They also save your hyfaxes. If you want a set let me know.

They are great scratchers (PLUG). You find them cheaper anywhere either (PLUG).

I am interested. Do you have a picture of them. Do you use them all the time or only when there is little to no snow?
You just pull them up and let them rest on your ski's when not needed.

Silver Streak (and your designer), Do you make a set for use with Simmon's skis? I know a couple guys (me included) who use them and needed a set of these last winter. I bought the Simmon's stainless steel ones that bolt to the back bolt of the skag and they worked great when there was snow on the trail but, when the trail was frozen solid they didin't throw up any snow and that &%#$ light kept coming on again and again. I know a kit I'd like you to build. I'll end up doing it myself later if you don't have the time.
It would be a 1" copper crossover tube I can mount in the very back end of the tunnel (where snow actually hits it). The one on the mountain RX-1s now crosses over where the short track tunnel would end and the snow never hits it. I'm picturing a giant U shaped copper tube that fits just inside the tunnel that can be mounted with rubber ADL clamps. You could plumb it into the system with a couple 90 degrees rubber hoses.
I'm convinced it wouldn't take much to keep that dang light from coming on because as soon as I'd jump off the trail in any decent snow the light would go out almost instantly. Powder Blue

I am the designer. Spray turned me in the right direction for the spring. It works great. I machine the adapters for it and it bolts on in about 10 minutes. I do make them for the Simmons skis. If you want a set, let me know. And about the copper tube for a rear heat exchanger, I started on mine Sunday. Great minds think alike huh? I have mine about ready to put on. It takes about 5 feet of 1" copper tubing and 6 90 deg elbows. The total cost is going to be about $25.00 with 7 feet of tubing left. I had to buy 12 feet. I think the 5 feet of tubing is going to be enough surface area to make a big difference.
If anyone else wants some scratchers, email me.
Thanks

Ok, it is a link went I post it.
I can vouch for the quality of Sled Nazi's scratchers. I have them on simmons and non-simmons and they work great. Just make sure you you lift them before you haul your sled on the trailer. I trailered about 40 miles on some serious bumps and broke one.
