Ice Scratchers

Has anyone looked at the rear heat exchanger for the Viper Mountain? I'm not sure, but I think that would work on our RX1 Mountains. Scooter; I hope your dealer knows more than mine, mine tells me that Yamaha dosn't know about the problem. (I have written Yamaha about 15 times about it)

rx1mtn, last spring the Yamaha northwest reps, were at the dealer when I was picking up my sled after they replaced the float bowls and they were taking to sleds out to specifictly test for overheating and what they found out was we have about 7 minutes of engine run time before the temp light comes on for the first time so I trust my dealer when he asked me to wait before I buy a mountain max rear exchanger. I will keep you posted. I spent morre time shoveing snow onto my running boards than getting unstuck and I have sent many email and survey notes to Yamaha too

Silver Streak....... 8) 8) Thanks. What keeps the scratchers up and out of the way when not in use?

Also, how do I go about ordering a set?

WFO;
When the scratchers aren't being used they just sit on top of the ski. The spring tension holds them there. You can see from the pics that the back part has a good curve to it. You can get your fingers under that to lift them up without getting pinched.
Email me with your shipping info and what ski you have and I will give you a price with shipping.

Silver, just received the scratchers lastnight they look great. Very heavy duty. I will let you know my thoughts when the white stuff starts to fly. Thanks for the quick service.

We have had dustings of snow on the mountains here too over the last week or so.
