My limiter strap looked like your left one does, before it let loose. Keep an eye on it. When it let go the washer did mark the track slightly.

The pixs look deciving (sp) its only one thread out, but looks much worst in the pixs

Forget about the cable scratchers. Tried them and they don't work in the conditions where you really need them (hardpack trails). I really like the spring style scratchers on the skis! They work, just don't backup and forget them in the down position.
