After having my sled (2008 Phazer RTX) poked in the corner all summer I decided to get it running again to make sure all is good for the snow. I charged the battery and it fired right up after the TEMP light went off it was still idling really high ( 2400- 2600 rpm) and then I give it a little bit of gas and it shuts off. Even with giving it full throttle it hits only 4500 rpm and shuts off and barely moves. I'm hoping it is only something small.

The idleing high after the light goes out is normal. It takes a bit of time to drop back down.
Try new gas then maybe new plugs.
