So I have an 08 MTX with a stock skid. I converted it to run 2 wheel in the rear for better side hilling. Well when I had my skid out at the end of last year for a look over I notice the bearings were pretty sloppy. Are there different wheels that I can run that are the same size and wont cost me $80 per wheel? Seems a bit much if I cant replace just the bearing.

You can buy jobbers with exchangeable bearings.

If your wheels are stock size, these Yamaha wheels are a great buy. They are well made and have replaceable bearings. G.B.

I ordered 7" kimpex idlers for mine this fall. They look like the outer rear idler wheels but they work perfectly fine for me in all positions. I put 3 of them in to make a 4th wheel kit on my nytro xtx. They're still going around and around anyways.

Does anyone know the inside dimensions for the bearing(the dimension where the shaft slides through)?

On the weekend I had my axle nut fall off and lost my rear wheel (and just about lost the entire axle before I noticed). I did some research on this site and found that the older SRX/SX use the exact same wheels as the Nytro. Last night I bought a used complete rear axle with wheels and it is a direct bolt on. Also bought 4 of the smaller wheels from the SRX and they are identical as well. And they all have changeable bearings!

Inside dimension should be 20mm. Bearing is a 6004-2RS or equivalent.
